“This was a person I encountered at Comic Con International in San Diego which is one of the big trade show Conventions for the Entertainment Industry. She was hired on the basis of her looks from an agency more or less to hand out buttons. I wondered how satisfying that was to her, handing out buttons. Was this a defining moment in her life? Maybe it was. I guess I’ll never know.”
